I actively joined the music business in 2011 as a vocalist and instrumentalist. After a while I caught an interest in music production as well and founded Sebun Records, a recording studio, in 2013. After working in the Ugandan entertainment industry for a number of years, I have extended my practice to my current aboard in Leipzig, Germany. I am a vocalist and play a number of instruments, including guitar, saxophone, bass guitar, piano and traditional instruments from the East African region such as local drums and thumb piano. “… sometimes with music it has just got to be you.”

I’m working hard on my debut album, which is going to be released later this year. It’s beautiful, especially if you’re behind it. Lately I’ve learned not to despise what I can do. Today I’d like to share some photos from one of my recent recording sessions with you.
